We now have an awesome emulator compatibility Wiki–check it out:
I am using an iPad Pro 9.7″ jailbroken on iOS 10.2 with a PS3 controller using BTstack 1.1-1 and Controllers For All 1.7.4-1 (from Cydia). As for iPads, you should be good with iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad 5 / 2017 (when a jailbreak gets released), iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 4, and the iPad Pro 9.7″ as well as the iPad Pro 12.9″. The following models should all work (albeit some slower than others): iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus. The JIT recompiler is what is used to make games run at playable speeds. NOTE that non-jailbroken devices can still run PPSSPP, but the JIT recompiler doesn’t work on stock firmware as it’s ability to run is disabled by Apple. PPSSPP should work fine if your device is jailbroken and running iOS 6, iOS 7, iOS 8, iOS 9, or iOS 10. The PPSSPP emulator is available for Windows, Android, iPhone/iPad/iOS devices, MacOSX, Linux, Blackberry, and more operating systems!
Apple iPad Pro 9.7″jailbroken iOS 10.2 running Crash of the Titans for Sony PlayStation Portable using PPSSPP Emulator 1.4.2-215 (PPSSPP works best with the following devices: iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7, iPhone 7S, iPad Pro, iPad Mini 4, iPad Air 2, and iPad 5 / 2017 when it gets jailbroken).
